It was a night concert in a small bar in Faro / Algarve / Portugal, about sixteen years ago. I was starting to play with my band when I saw this guy with a guitar comin' in. After the gig I ask him if he want's to join the band. He said yes. I didn't know him but somehow I feel like I knew him all my life. We get very closed friends and starting to compose some rock songs till the recording of an album of the band we called SOLID ROCK. You can listen a few songs at this adress: www.myspace.com/solidrock James followed the recordings, and some concerts we had in Lisbon. Soon I will put some videos on myspace, too. It was always great fun making some tours through Portugal with our band. John give me another perspective about music. He was a true rock' n' roller. After he leaves Portugal and get together with Teresa, he dreamed on his future, a place to live and get old in Portugal. Every year there he was visiting his friends and travelling around Algarve. Unfortunately he didn't make it in time, but I always remember him as a companion of great laughs and fun and a lot of drinking. He left a lot of himself with us here in Algarve. So many stories to tell. I hope Teresa and James can join me one day to tell this stories. John,... Your're the gratest. Long live Rock' n' Roll
