Thanks to everyone for making Sunday's bash at the Brunswick so special. We took orders for about 60 CDs of JC's "Through The Years" greatest hits, and including the auction and donations, we should reach over £1500 for the Martlets. Thanks to Fil, Ros and Jan for keeping the collecting going and being such great dancers. And to Sharon and Mark for the bean counting. Thanks to Ben on the desk for working all night. Thanks to Ross for being amazingly funny, stepping into the breach, and being a quite terrible auctioneer - very funny - daytime TV beckons surely. Thanks to Martin and Allan for all the help (and for bidding against his girlfriend - my mum!). Thanks to Stevie Ray for all the music and to Dave, Sleaze, Stewart, Chris, Tim and of course, Barry Clifton for a star turn. Big props to Theseus for keeping the energy levels up and keeping all the ladies' attentions! You are a joy to watch in action. Thanks also to Phil and Lucy at the Brunswick for letting us take over the place. And a big thank you to everyone who came in such good spirits and donated, bid, sang, danced, talked, watched and enjoyed the evening.
