I didn't know JC as long as most but I had the pleasure to be inculcated into the fantasy football league by John, something that will go on entertaining us for years to come. I know his immense pleasure of getting us all involved in Fantasy Football continued, even as his illness progressed. Many's the the time in the Battle after a match when he would finish up behind the bar and sit down and have "just the one" a drink with us. Coincidentally we'd popped in "for just the one" too and thanks to the scotch that kept magically appearing I think we usually ended up weaving out of the door after midnight. vowing never to "jink" again. (Before the new hours!) JC would be most entertaining and a constant source of fun and laughter. He also came along to writers meetings and performances for The Treason Show which I valued and appreciated and his enjoyment and support of the show was highly valued and warmly appreciated by my wife Carol and myself. He always said "Carol was the best". Of course I concur. In honour of this and of our fond memories, we will be dedicating next week's Treason Show to his memory. He will be remembered, he will be missed and our thoughts are with Teresa and Jamie for their loss. Finally, he also appeared in my short film THE GOLF WIDOW where he did all his shots in one take but one, when with that twinkle in his eye he looked directly at the camera, winked and said "Was I wonderful darling"? Yes you were JC and we'll miss you. Gawd bless yer Geez. X Mark Brailsford
